Arrowverse Wishlist: 15 Hopes for ‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash,’ ‘Supergirl,’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’
Gifts are unwrapped and resolutions are made, but that doesn’t mean we have to put away our wishlists.
So much is going on in the Arrowverse currently. It seems like before every commercial break on Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow, a new question or mystery pops up. Where is so and so? How did they escape that? Who is behind all of this?
Unfortunately, we all know not all of these questions will be answered before the end of each show’s season. Some things will become a cliffhanger, while others will just be ignored indefinitely. This is where our wishlist comes in.
Without further ado, here are 15 things we would love to see unfold throughout the rest of the season for all the shows in the Arrowverse.
1. A Clarification of How Team Arrow Escaped The Island (Arrow)

The Arrow Season 5 finale has Diggle, Felicity, Thea, and the others stranded on an exploding island.
When the new season picks up, everyone (for the most part) is safe and sound back in Star City. The only characters rescue that is addressed at some point is Black Siren and Thea. We hold our breath all summer long with very little payoff.
This, along with no major deaths, is a major letdown. Hopefully, the writers realize their faux pas and give the viewers what they deserve; a simple explanation.
2. Kid Flash Fills In For Firestorm (Legends of Tomorrow)

With the death of Professor Stein on Legends of Tomorrow, the team is shorthanded.
Luckily enough, S.T.A.R. Labs, home of Team Flash, seems a bit congested with Barry, Vibe, Caitlin, Iris, Joe, Ralph, and anybody else who wants to stop by for the week, even poor Wally himself says that he is missing in action and nobody even notices.
Why not kill two birds with one stone here and send Wally West, aka Kid Flash, over to a show where he can better shine?
Central City won’t miss their additional speedster, and better yet, Wally can pick up the slack without bringing in a new character that we will have to grow to love. Fixing time will be a heck of a lot easier with someone who has the potential to change the timeline all by himself.
3. Lena Luthor Discovers Kara is Supergirl (Supergirl)

We all know that on Supergirl, Kara is one of Lena Luthor’s closest friends. We also know that Luthors are best known for their high intelligence. How long is it going to be before Lena puts two and two together and realizes her best friend is a Kryptonian?
This will add so much depth to the relationship and also introduce many angles for drama.
Will Lena embrace her friends heroics, or will she feel as though she has been lied to? Better yet, what could Lena’s role be at the D.E.O if she becomes part of the team?
This would be a great way to end the season and segue into the summer months, with a bit of satisfaction and intrigue for the future.
4. Killer Frost Becomes Comfortable in Her Own Skin (The Flash)

During the The Flash Season 4 premiere, it appears as though Caitlin Snow has reeled in her dark powers and keeps her frosty side at bay. When danger enters the arena, we see that it is only a facade.
It is great to see the power struggle between good and evil embodied together into one being. It really speaks to the duality of man, and the struggle we all face in our day to day lives. But how long can this really keep up, without one of the two personalities ultimately taking over?
If Caitlin can come to an alliance with her alter ego and set boundaries for herself, it seems Killer Frost could become the next great anti-hero.
It would be great to see Barry and Caitlin combine their powers to take down the magnificent mind of the Thinker. He may see Barry coming from around the corner, but Killer Frost may be the curve ball that throws him off his game.
5. Thea Queen Suits Back Up (Arrow)

When the Arrow series premieres, Thea Queen isn’t much more than a spoiled brat. Eventually, Oliver is able to uncover her heroic side, and she suits up as Speedy.
Somewhere along the way, Thea feels as though she is losing herself. Her identity crisis causes her to ditch the red mask, but she still sticks by her brother’s side.
Unfortunately, not a lot has happened for Thea since this point. In fact, thus far on Arrow Season 6, all she really manages to do is come out of a coma. It would be great to see her have a purpose again.
With a team of villains after her brother, and his new recruits by the wayside, it seems to be great timing for Thea to grab the bow again. Oliver still seems on the fence about whether or not he is going to stick to his green duds, and Diggle currently is uneasy with his tremor.
It would be awesome to have Thea take charge and lead her family of heroes to victory.
6. Sara Lance to Settle Down (Legends of Tomorrow)

As the captain of the Legends of Tomorrow, Sara Lance seems to find a love interest in practically every time period she ends up in. The bad thing about being a time traveler is she never gets to stay around long enough to have a real relationship.
While the bed-hopping is fun, in a — who is she going to hook up with next — kind of way, Sara deserves to be happy. With the fate of her former lover, Nyssa, still up in the air, there is no reason for Sara not to move on and find a soulmate that can transcend time and space with her.
