Curb Your Enthusiasm: Top 18 Celebrity Cameos
The revolving door of Curb Your Enthusiasm has seen some big names.
Famous guest stars have appeared as quirky characters often making Larry David’s life miserable or their lives being made miserable by him, but the most memorable performances are by celebrities who play themselves. Let’s take a look at some of the best cameos on Curb Your Enthusiasm in honor of its return to television.
1. Julia Louis-Dreyfus

She tries to do a favor for Larry that backfires spectacularly for him on many levels, attempts to get a series made with him, and reprises her iconic role as Elaine Benes on the Seinfeld reunion show. The mystery of who left the ring stain on her table plagues Larry throughout Season 7.
2. Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen

The real-life Hollywood couple are a staple of the series. The second episode of the series is actually titled “Ted and Mary” and shows the first double date that Larry and Cheryl went on with them.
At one point the two couples, along with Jeff and Susie, plan to be buried next to each other; however, burial placement soon becomes problematic, and Larry backs out of the deal.
Danson is set to appear on Season 9.
3. Rosie O’Donnell

Rosie O’Donnell shows up periodically throughout the span of Seasons 5 through 8.
She and Larry are buddies on the series and get along quite well. O’Donnell even vouches for him with the lesbian community. They compete on Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 8 Episode 7 for the affections of the titular character, “The Bi-Sexual.”
4. David Schwimmer

David Schwimmer appears on three episodes of Season 4.
The season revolves around the main storyline of Larry being cast as the lead of The Producers. Schwimmer replaces Ben Stiller as his co-star and doesn’t get along with Larry any better than Stiller did. There is a whole missing watch mishap, and Larry offends him with his opinion of “David Schwimmer’s dad’s nuts.”
5. Jerry Seinfeld

Jerry reunites with Larry to do a Seinfeld reunion on Season 7.
He, perhaps, is the person that understands Larry the best, aside from Jeff. They are on the same page about a lot of things, like the ridiculousness of Jason Alexander’s pamphlet, I mean, book, but they can also bump heads.
For example, Jerry sides with Mocha Joe on the parameters of a favor, and Larry accuses Jerry of not respecting wood.
6. Wanda Sykes

Wanda Sykes appears on 9 episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, often popping up at inopportune times for Larry.
You can always count on her to call Larry out on his whiteness. She’s the no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is friend that sees right through his BS.
