The Good Place Review: Dance Dance Resolution (Season 2 Episode 3)

Reviews, The Good Place

Michael begins to lose his forking mind on The Good Place Season 2 Episode 3, “Dance Dance Resolution.”

We thought that Michael having to retry his hand at being an architect for a third time without Shawn figuring out was hard. Now, he’s tried his hand at it over eight hundred times with no success.

It’s unbelievable that Shawn hasn’t figured it out by now considering there are different scenarios each time. Michael has forked up so bad and so repeatedly that Jason figured out they were in the bad place. Jason.

I’m looking forward to Vicky shaking things up even more in Michaels world. It was a given that Vicky would be the one to cause issues after The Good Place Season 2 Episode 1, “Everything Is Great!”

Vicky saw her chance and documented everything her crazy boss was doing that way she had proof of his failures – something I encourage everyone to do. She may be well documented, but I think given a chance Michael could break her and bring her back to his side.

In one life Eleanor and Tahani were soulmates, and I think that would be something hilarious that could be released as extra footage. The two of them are a horrible fit for each other. It truly would be the bad place.

It’s a little sad, but Mindy is the voice of reason when it comes to the love struggles between Eleanor and Chidi. They do belong together, and no matter how much Eleanor can try to fight it it’s always going to happen.

That scene with them snuggling in bed is the cutest thing that has aired on the show.

I am confused on what Michael’s plan could be to join ranks with Eleanor, Chidi, Jason, and Tahani. What if he gets them to fake on camera and then, in reality, gives them whatever they want? I’m not sure how else he would be able to join them and use it to his advantage, not theirs.

This season is going to be one crazy ride.

Other Thoughts:

  • Janet dying over and over is the most hilarious thing that has been on the show. They’re really stepping their game up this season on the comedy.
  • I wish Jason were gone. His character just doesn’t speak to me, and I feel like it wouldn’t make a difference if he were gone.
