15 Reasons Why You Should Watch ‘Hart of Dixie’

6. Fashion

Hart of Dixie 1.01 – Pilot

Every single time I watch this show I tell myself now is the time for me to get fashionable. That never happens, but it is so much fun to watch the beautiful clothes the characters of this show walk around in. It is also interesting to look at the evolution of Zoe and Lemon’s styles as a result of changes in their lifestyles.

7. Zoe and Wade’s “will-they-or-won’t-they” relationship

Hart of Dixie 1.03 – Gumbo & Glory

Zoe and Wade begin the series as arguing neighbors, and while the arguing does not stop, their relationship gets deeper and deeper as the show goes on.

They can get a bit frustrating at parts, and they definitely have me yelling “DON’T YOU REALIZE YOU ARE IN LOVE” to my TV multiple times, but I promise all of that frustration is worth it.

8. The accents

Every single time Wade calls Zoe “doc,” I melt a little. It honestly has a similar effect to me than Logan calling Rory “Ace” on Gilmore Girls.

And what can I say, I really just love Southern accents.

9. Hot guys — and there is something for everyone

When it comes to the hot guy department, this show really has a LOT to offer.

There’s George Tucker, a perfect gentleman with a stable career — he is honestly the epitome of “a guy you take home to your mama.” Then there is Lavon, who is sporty, funny, politically active, and much more.

And finally, there’s Wade who is a perfect combination of so many wonderful and frustrating things. He’s the guy I fall in love with every single time I rewatch this show.

10. Plenty of laugh-out-loud moments

When it comes to laugh-out-loud moments Hart of Dixie, once again, reminds me of Gilmore Girls. Most of the funny moments arise from the quick dialogue between the characters, and Rachel Bilson, especially, really gets to show her funny side during the four seasons of the show.
