Tamara Duarte and Tim Rozon Talk New Cast Members, Fans, and ‘Wynonna Earp’ Season 2 [Video]

We got a chance to speak with Tamara Duarte and Tim Rozon at San Diego Comic-Con keeping secrets from the fans and Wynonna Earp Season 2.

Like Jeremy, Duarte’s character Rosita is the new kid on the block looking for her place within the team while hiding a past she’d rather forget and stay hidden. And getting to this place wasn’t easy.

Duarte commented on how she auditioned multiple times before coming on and followed that by saying, “I knew the show pretty intimately, and I’m a big fan of Beau and all of his works,” she said.

And as an Earper myself, it’s amazing to know that she was a fan of the show long before she became a part of the show.

“I’m an Earper, first and foremost. I downloaded it on iTunes right when it came out,” Duarte admitted.

Tim Rozon, who plays Doc Holliday and has been on Wynonna Earp from the start, said that as an Earper and part of the community built of amazing fans, it’s been really hard keeping Melissa Scrofano’s pregnancy a secret.

“The fans of this show are so good at noticing everything that for me to say, ‘Mel’s pregnant’ is such a relief,” he explained. “We kept that hidden for so long and it was so important for us to keep that secret.”
