Nick Wechsler is back to solving crimes, but this time, he’ll be doing it in New York.

According to Deadline, Wechsler is joining the cast of NBC’s Shades of Blue Season 3 in a recurring role. The series stars Jennifer Lopez as Harlee Santos and Ray Liotta as Matt Wozniak.

Wechsler will play Detective Cole, though no other details about the character are available at this time.

Most recently, Wechsler appeared on Chicago P.D. as Kenny Rixton, a former gang unit cop brought into the intelligence unit by Detective Voight.
