5 Things We Learned About ‘Wynonna Earp’ at San Diego Comic-Con
Wynonna Earp, Syfy’s little show that could, hit up San Diego Comic-Con to talk about its second season, the challenges they faced, and how their little family grew with the addition of Wynonna’s baby, Rosita, and Jeremy.
Here are five things we learned from Wynonna Earp at San Diego Comic-Con:
1. Wynonna being pregnant wasn’t part of the original plan.
Emily Andras was proud of the fact that she was way ahead of schedule when it came to Wynonna Earp Season 2. Then Melanie dropped a bomb, that she was pregnant, and changed everything.
In true Emily fashion, because she’s a lean, mean, I’m gonna kick this story in the ass, machine, she made it work and has given us a revolutionary character who kicks ass and takes names while carrying a possible revenant baby. She’s what a hero in 2017 looks like and we couldn’t be prouder!

2. Katherine Barrell was nervous about drunk Nicole.
Acting drunk was a brand new experience for Katherine. And it was even more challenging acting across Melanie Scrofano. They hadn’t had many scenes together in Season 1, and trying not to laugh while having to pee every forty minutes was quite a challenge.
3. Tim Rozon is down for a non-traditional family.
Polyamory, anyone? According to Rozon he’d be ok with anything. Wynonna/Dolls? Yes. Wynonna/Doc? Yes. Wynonna/Dolls/Doc? YESSS!
He’s ready to take on whatever challenge Emily gives him next and will accent the decision that Wynonna makes.

4. Beau Smith will expand world of Wynonna Earp.
The creator of Wynonna Earp will expand on the world of Purgatory with new stories on the Bambinos, the backstory of Wynonna’s key, and finally explaining what Lucato meant when she said that she knew what Wynonna did.
5. Tamara Duarte was an Earper first.
Before she came on as Rosita, Tamara Duarte was an avid fan of Wynonna Earp. Being welcomed onto the show, according to her, was like she was crashing someone else’s Thanksgiving. That’s a crazy Thanksgiving!
