16 Unforgettable TV Kisses from the Past 10 Years

It’s International Kissing Day, and we’re taking a look back at some of the best kisses over the past 10 years from of our favorite TV couples!

Television shows have often been about that slow burn when it comes to on-screen romance and lead characters. While some were unexpected and others took forever to happen — these favorite TV couples never lacked in the kissing department.

While some on this list were steamy and passionate, others were sweet and heartfelt. All are worthy of reminiscing about, so let’s get started.

1. Booth and Brennan (Bones – 2007)

On Bones Season 3 Episode 9, Booth and Brennan shared a mistletoe kiss that left all their fans wanting more. Though later on in the series, we find out this wasn’t their first — this one left quite an impression.

Did you catch Booth’s grin and stumble at the end? This couple ended up defying the “Moonlighting Curse” because the series ran for a total of 12 seasons, with this ship as a romantic couple for half of it.

2. Penny and Leonard (The Big Bang Theory – 2008)

On The Big Bang Theory Season 1 Episode 17, Leonard and Penny finally go on their first date. Even though this wasn’t technically their first kiss, this one was a huge step in their relationship. After both getting advice from Sheldon in the form of an analogy of Schrödinger’s cat, Leonard decides to take the risk by kissing Penny before they go on their first date.

3. Castle and Beckett (Castle – 2011)

On Castle Season 4 Episode 23, Beckett realizes that all she wants is Castle, and she and shows up at his doorstep drenched to tell him that. The two share a very passionate and steamy kiss before it fades out as they head to the bedroom.

There was a lot of drama behind the scenes between the two lead actors, but somehow their chemistry on air never faltered. And while it was a happy ending, many fans felt it was rushed and did not do this crazy cute couple justice, which is why moments like this one were so important!

 4. Damon and Elena (The Vampire Diaries – 2011)

On The Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 19, Damon and Elena shared hot and steamy epic motel kiss that no one will ever forget. #Delena shippers rejoiced as these two finally gave into their feelings for each other, and it was just the start of many amazing kisses from this couple. They went through a lot over the course of the show, but this kiss proved they were destined to be together.

5. Jackson and April (Grey’s Anatomy – 2011)

On Grey’s Anatomy Season 8 Episode 21, Jackson and April are running on adrenaline after having gotten into a mini bar brawl, which leads to her passionately kissing him.

Needless to say, April’s bravery was a turn on, so this scene turned PG-13 fairly quickly and changed their friendship forever. This couple continues to have its ups and downs, but it’s always a nice reminder to see where they came from.

6. Mike and Rachel (Suits – 2011)

On Suits Season 1 Episode 10, Rachel suddenly kisses Mike during a late night at the office after a season full of tension and flirtations. Short and sweet, this kiss had way more impact on their lives than either of them wanted to admit. Going into Season 7, this couple is still going strong, and we are loving the commitment to each other!
