Sense8 Two-Hour Special Coming to Netflix!

News, Sense8

It’s always good to have a little faith.

Co-creator Lana Wachowski announced today with a letter on Facebook that the recently canceled Netflix original series, Sense8, will get the ending it deserves with a two-hour special in 2018.

Sense8 fans were shocked and saddened when the news broke that the series had been canceled, and for several good reasons. Still any chance in getting picked up elsewhere or changing the network’s mind seemed hopeless.

Wachowski credited the fans for helping bring the series back to give it some closure.

“Improbably, unforeseeably, your love has brought Sense8 back to life,” Wachowski said in the letter.

“It is my great pleasure as well as Netflix’s (believe me, they love the show as much as we do but the numbers have always been challenging) to announce that there will be another two hour special released next year.”

According to Wachowski, we’ll find out what happens to Wolfgang in that special. You can read the full letter here:
