14+ Hallmark Movies To Watch This Summer

Lists, TV Movies
7. Appetite for Love (Saturday, July 1st at 5 PM)

YouTube video

Mina (Taylor Cole), a corporate executive, travels back to her hometown to convince her ex-boyfriend Clay (Andrew Walker) to re-brand his iconic diner. As the two try to find a deal that works for them both, they begin to connect again. When Mina’s boyfriend Reed comes to town, she is forced to make some decisions about her future.

I adore Andrew Walker as a sort of grumpy small town hottie!

8. Moonlight in Vermont (Saturday, July 1st at 9 PM)

YouTube video

Fiona (Lacey Chabert), travels from New York to Vermont after she gets dumped by her boyfriend. Her stay at the picturesque inn is complicated when her ex-boyfriend shows up with a new girlfriend. In order to make him jealous, Fiona asks the inn’s chef Derek (Carlo Marks) to pretend to be her boyfriend. As Fiona and Derek spend more time together, they start to realize that it might not all be for pretend.

Moonlight in Vermont was originally released during the spring, so there is still some snow on the ground. But nevertheless, it is a charming story definitely fit for the summer as well.

9. Autumn in the Vineyard (Sunday, July 2nd at 5 PM)

YouTube video

Frankie (Rachael Leigh Cook) and Nate (Brendan Penny) both have a claim to the ownership of Sorrento Farms Vineyard. The problem is that they don’t see eye to eye, as a result of which they end up dividing the vineyard right down the middle and agree on a competition to determine who will gain the full ownership of the land.

Autumn in the Vineyard is a perfect example of a hate to love relationship and I loved seeing how the bickering between Frankie and Nate develops into something else within the duration of the movie.

10. Love at First Glance (Saturday, July 8th at 3 PM)
After journalist Mary Landers (Amy Smart) is assigned to write a Valentine's Day story about "The Meaning of Love," her long-time boyfriend breaks up with her, leaving Mary feeling that her life is boring and predictable. Riding the crowded train home, she locks eyes with photo journalist James Fielding (Adrian Grenier) but before they can speak, he exits and accidentally leaves his phone behind. Finding that phone changes her life and Mary discovers through James that life is an adventure, never knowing where it is going to lead. In writing the perfect love story, Mary finds herself, and realizes that love means opening your heart to any possibility, no matter how unexpected. Mary (Amy Smart) is a journalist on the lookout for a perfect story, James (Adrian Grenier) is a photographer with the kind of life worth writing about. When Mary finds James’s phone from a train she starts to track him down and while doing so not only learns something about James but also about herself.

The film also stars Jonathan Bennett (Aaron Samuels on Mean Girls) and an adorable dog called Boyfriend.

11. October Kiss (Saturday, July 8th at 1 PM)

YouTube video

Ryan (Sam Jaeger) is a widowed father and a workaholic. When Poppy (Ashley Williams) takes the job as a nanny for his two kids, things start to change and for the first time in a long time, he realizes he is connecting with his children and rather spending time at home than at work.

October Kiss is set during the Halloween, but I guess summer is already the perfect time to start to think about your costume for October. Maybe this can give you some inspiration.

12. A Country Wedding (Saturday, July 8th at 5 PM)
A COUNTRY WEDDING - Before his wedding to his movie star fiancé, country music sensation Bradley Suttons must visit his rural hometown to sell his family's former house. While there, he reconnects with Sarah - an old friend he gave his late mother's ring to during their make-believe childhood wedding. Bradley (Jesse Metcalfe) is a big-time country music star and about to get married to a beautiful actress. When he travels home to sell the house he grew up in he runs into Sarah (Autumn Reeser), his first love. As Bradley spends more time back at home he starts to connect not only with the house but with Sarah.

While watching this I was determined that Jesse Metcalfe was born to play a country musician.
