Once Upon A Time Photo Preview: War Is Coming to Storybrooke

After a three-month hiatus, Once Upon A Time is finally returning for the second half of its sixth season in just a few short days.

When we last left off with our heroes on Once Upon A Time Season 6 Episode 10, Emma and Regina had become trapped in the Evil Queen’s wish world (where Emma was never the Savior) after Regina became distracted by the unexpected appearance of her dead love, Robin.

Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, Belle and Gold made the horrifying discovery that it was their own son Gideon (aged into adulthood during his mysterious absence) who was the figure under the hood seeking to kill Emma.

Filled with old characters making return appearances (hello, August!!) and a whole lot of intrigue, Once Upon A Time Season 6 Episode 11, “Tougher Than The Rest” seems like it will be an exciting return to our favorite fairy tale character-filled world.

With no mention of the Evil Queen – who we last saw being turned into a serpent by Gideon – we have to wonder whether Belle and Gold’s son will be taking over as the main antagonist for the second half of the season.

OFFICIAL EPISODE SYNOPSIS: With Snow still asleep in Storybrooke, David and Hook race to stop Gideon before he can confront Emma. Gideon makes a startling confession to Belle and Gold about his whereabouts while he was missing. Meanwhile, Regina struggles with the realization that everyone, perhaps even Robin, is better off in the alternate world where the Evil Queen was defeated. And when Emma inspires a familiar face to help her and Regina return home, she discovers the power to change her fate.
