10 Things We Want From The Magicians Season 2

7.  Dark, dark backgrounds

The real life illusions created to hide the identity for Brakebills should be darker and more disturbing. To live as a magician in the land of fairies and unicorns, your life on earth should be abysmal.

We remember Qentin Coldwater’s insane asylum ward, but what about the other Brakebillers? How are their lives appearing to their loved ones?

As we see here, the game has just started… 

8. Where in the world would we go?

In the magic realm of Fillory and all other worlds out there. Enchanted forests, magic statues and wild magic. What is Felloria really? We’ve just stepped through the entrance… Which came from The Neitherlands, the fountain galore plane.

Where else can we go?

This being only a tiny, tiny bit of the Netherlands, there are thousands of other locations on this smorgasbord of plots for SyFy Channel to explore. We won’t be surprised if one of them is Westeros of A Song of Ice and Fire by Geroge RR Martin. HBO’s hit Game of Thrones will of course be a running joke of the cast of The Magicians.

Wait and see. Words are wind.

9. The end of it all

Tied in to all this there should be a Season 2 finale ending in a crescendo of fireworks. Not the open ending of a handless cliff-hanger of Season 1. Come-on! A shed?! Let’s have the ending in an out-house. Who came up with that idea?

Well, let’s hope The Magicians got the budgetary bottom lines in order. We see in our crystal ball a monetary influx at the cost of a power drain in the magic realm.

If the Season 2 finale can live up to this promotional cast-shot, we’ll be happy.

10.  Fingers crossed

We wish our team to fare well in Season 2!

Oh, what happened here? Just to show our initial mistake of calling the heroes of Brakebills  ‘Mystery Incorporated’ this screen comparison shows what we were thinking.

Another team lost in the woods. Pretty much like Mystery Incorporated.
