Teen Wolf: Top Moments from “Ghosted” (Season 6 Episode 6)
Team McCall visits Canaan in hopes of unlocking the mysteries of the Ghost Riders only to encounter more confusion and a banshee on Teen Wolf Season 6 Episode 6, “Ghosted.”
To make matters worse Liam decides to make decisions on his own and release the evil, vile, and conniving Theo. That’s going to end well, right?
Here are the top moments from “Ghosted”!
1. Beacon Hills Banshee vs Canaan Banshee
On one end, we have a vibrant and powerful banshee out to save her friends and town. On the other end, we have a withering old banshee that’s been stuck in a loop for 30 years.Who will win?!
Lydia, of course.
She differs from Lenore because she fights until the end. She doesn’t sit down and take it. Lydia Martin looks at the most fearsome things, right in the eye, and finds a way to send them straight back where they came from.
Lydia is on a mission to save Stiles, the man she can’t possibly see an existence without, and her home town. She isn’t going to end up alone and destroyed like Lenore. When Teen Wolf comes to a close, you better believe that she’ll stronger than ever before!
2. Malia threatens to fight a child.
Now, abuse in any way shape or form is something we do not condone. That’s not what Malia is doing in this particular scene.
She recognizes Scott apprehension at hurting an entity that wears the face of a child. Malia has no such qualms. She grew up wild, trusting her instincts more than anything else.
Malia’s instincts are telling her that the child is dangerous and must be eliminated. (Spewing water a couple of seconds later proves this.) It goes without saying, but in Malia we trust.
3. Melissa saves Chris…I mean Argent.
When in doubt, or in serious peril of dying from a whiplash of a Ghost Rider, go to Melissa McCall! This nurse extraordinaire lies to the best of her abilities, can make a supernatural cocktail to save your life, and knows the power of Google Translate to figure out your Celtic ramblings.
It’s a wonder why it’s taken Teen Wolf so long to put Melissa into this position. She’s always been a help on the show, but never to this extent. She is on her own adventure to save the day with Argent, who we’re starting to ship just a little bit.
4. Liam frees Theo.
The risk that Liam takes is too great for him and foolhardy to go into without proper support. Does no one own a cellphone? Is Liam too busy making out with Hayden to shoot Scott, the alpha, a quick text about freeing the person who almost destroyed his pack?
Looks like it!
Theo, who just so happens to remember Stiles, is a gigantic risk that makes one question whether the end justify the means. For a supporter of Team McCall who wants Stiles to return and ride that Stydia train off into the sunset, yes. For all the people Theo’s killed, it’s a resounding no.
5. The return of Noshiko Yukimura.
This 900 year old Kitsune makes us ache for the return of Kira Yukimura. Last seen in Apotheosis, she remains in the desert with the Skinwalkers, trying to regain control of her Kitsune.
This brief glimpse, and the return of Kira’s sword, will be a reminder to Scott and the others of all those they’ve lost on this supernatural journey of theirs. It will drive them harder to find Stiles and right the wrong in Beacon Hills.
6. Malia & Scott have horrifying visions in Canaan.
Kudos to the special effects team on Teen Wolf. Malia being pulled down into the ground with her family, is chill worthy and Melissa’s injury is shocking. Both are vivid visions that leave viewers uncomfortable long after seeing them.
The fact that Malia’s vision is from the past, should dispel any notion that the Nazi werewolf will kill Melissa, but it doesn’t. She’s on his trail with Argent and at the highest risk of being hurt.
We must protect Mama McCall at all cost!
