Tell Tale TV’s Top Moments From Dec 4 – Dec 10: Timeless, Rectify, The Flash, and More
‘Tis the season!
As our favorite shows celebrate the holidays, we also gear up for the mid-season break.
This week’s highlights from the Tell-Tale TV team include heart-warming family moments, a surprise character return, and more robot mischief.
Not every moment can be listed, but here are a few of this week’s top moments in no particular order.
This Is Us

All of the writing and all the stories in This is Us are great, but Rebecca and Jack realizing that Dr. K was in the hospital was a great moment.
I particularly like when Rebecca and Jack say that they’re going to be his family for this hard time and when young Randall bought him the snow globe to thank him. I won’t lie, I teared up a little bit at that.
Westworld

Ford is giving his speech to the Delos investors when Dolores comes up behind Ford and shoots him.
Add onto the fact now that numerous hosts are now on the loose and roaming Westworld makes us excited for Season 2 and cursing that it won’t come till 2018.
The Flash

Drunk H.R is the best H.R. At a gathering at the West Residence, he was too hilarious, more than usual. Funniest quote, “Caroling in the rain. That sucks.”
He’s the team’s new “Wells” but way more sensitive, goofy and addicted to coffee. Tom Cavanagh is superb!
The Exorcist

There were a lot of moments we liked in this week’s The Exorcist, but we have to give it to Angela this week. Angela is a complex character who invented a whole new life for herself after being possessed by a demon in 1976. Now the demon has returned, integrating itself into her.
The demon is in command of her body and isn’t afraid to explore its new playground.
Geena Davis gives a terrifying performance that progresses through the episode a lighthearted relief with a dash of sadness to a manic sadism where she’s about to hurt her family (or the demon is about to hurt her family) until Father Tomas (Alfonso Herrerra) barges in and the episode ends.
Arrow

On the mid-season finale of Arrow, we get flashbacks from Season 1, and it brought so many memories back. One of which when it was only Oliver and Diggle in the lair and the second when Oliver and Felicity had they’re first few encounters, the days when Felicity didn’t know how to stop babbling.
Oh, and…Laurel is back! Two words: WHAT?! HOW?!
This is Us

We so often see the Pearsons dispersed that it was really nice to see them all together happily in one scene. Of course Jack was missing, and that made it bittersweet, but it was still great to see everyone enjoying the holiday together.
