UnREAL: Top Quotes from ‘Espionage’ (Season 2 Episode 9)
Illegal phone tapping, upset stomachs, Coleman showing his true colors, and the band getting back together on UnREAL’s “Espionage.”
To prep ourselves for the season finale, we’re going to do things a little differently by picking out some of the best lines from “Espionage.” Prepare yourself for stripper children, defecating on national TV, and broken hearts.
On the Rachel front, Coleman is trying to spin a tale that benefits him and gets them away from Rachel:
“I’m saying Quinn is smart. And she pretends to care about you. Just a little bit, here and there. Just cuz she knows you need it. Because you’re human. Rachel, what would she do if she actually cared about you? She’d have you get the hell out of this place because it’s killing you. Quinn is killing you.”
All of this happens while Quinn is skipping along like the bada** fairy of her own forest, talking about having children:
“You remember I’m a workaholic. Ok? And I love being a workaholic and that is a recipe for raising a stripper.
Darius is taking control of the show from EVERYONE by setting into motion the elimination of Chantal. (Because that’s going to go great.) Jay is there to help!
“Chantal, honey, listen. Every season runner-ups says the same thing to me. I wish I would’ve asked to leave before I could get dumped. Darius is giving you that opportunity.”
During Tiffany and Darius’ date, things get a little messy, to Quinn’s amusement:
“Finally somebody’s getting wet!”
And Rachel is finding the strength inside of herself to move forward and get back into Quinn’s good graces.
“Let me entertain you.”
Which Quinn is ready and set with:
“Oh real Rachel vs. Hot Rachel. Go for it.”
Then the trouble starts after Yael has her sensual sashimi meal. Cue Quinn laughing till she cries.
“Hot Rachel just shit herself on national television! Boom! Drop the mic!”
Rachel stands there all quiet and composed but inside she cackling. She has the control.
“So maybe that white dress wasn’t such a good idea after all.”
Darius isn’t happy one bit. And neither him or Jay know that Madison is working magic with Chantal.
“If you’re worried about your reputation don’t you think walking out now is gonna make you seem like even more of an entitled, prissy, cock tease?”
Watching Quinn fawn over Rachel’s return is overshadowed by the fact that no problems have been solved.
“That thing you pulled on Yael, why have we never done that before? You are a mad genius.”
Rachel drops ‘debbie downer’ feels while fishing for info (unknowingly of course):
“You don’t ever think about Mary?”
Coleman sits back like a creeper, listening into them.
“Welcome back, Goldberg. I missed you.”
Minutes later Rachel discovers that Coleman is a creeper who wants to take the glory. We’re over Coleman.
“You tapped my phone?!”
Pain continues and Quinn sees her happiness disappear after finding out she can’t have kids.
“I know who you are. A guy who gets everything he wants. And I won’t be anybody’s disappointment.”
Don’t deny it, you cried when she yelled out…
“I wanted a choice.”
After confessions where Quinn admitted how much she cares for Rachel, fires her, and Rachel spills the truth about Coleman, Quinn drops the mic and sets us up for the season finale of UnREAL.
“We’re taking that asshole down.”
All hail money, dick, power.
