Suits: Favorite Quotes from ‘Shake the Trees’ (Season 6 Episode 7)
No way was it going to be that easy.
Okay, the plan to get Mike out of prison wasn’t ever actually easy, but just for a moment we think this whole mess might be over — until it all comes crashing down on Suits Season 6 Episode 7, “Shake the Trees.”
Meanwhile, Louis goes on a date with the woman he thinks is the love of his life, only to find out that with her, things may be more complicated than he ever thought. And Rachel and Jessica focus on their case, which is starting to stir up trouble.
As is always the case on Suits, there are a lot of quotable lines on this episode, so I’m breaking down a few of my favorites. Check them out below!

Harvey: I’m implying I don’t know what you did, but Santa sure as hell didn’t put that thing under your tree last night.
Sometimes Harvey has the best one-liners, doesn’t he?
Cahill: I didn’t sell my soul last night to watch that bastard ride off into the sunset.
At this point, I have to say, I’m still not certain if we should trust Cahill, no matter how entertaining it is to see him working with Harvey.
Donna: There are exactly three reasons for Louis to come bearing pastry. Esther got a bad hair cut, he found someone to fix his crooked thumb, or he wants our advice.
It’s the third, and the ladies aren’t so quick to help this time. Except for:
Donna: What I think, is if you can’t figure out how to have a simple date with a woman who’s already agreed to go out with you, then you don’t deserve to go out with her in the first place. How’s that for advice?
Louis really does need to calm down, and he needs to try listening to Donna more often.
Mike: I was in your position, and I decided it was better to give it all up than to keep looking over my shoulder waiting for the ax to fall.
And if only he had done that a little sooner…
Louis: Not now, Harvey. I’m planning the ultimate date for the love of my life.
Harvey: This is for Mike.
Louis: Alright, what do you need me to do?
Harvey finally clues Louis in to what’s been going on with the case and asks for his help, and Louis proves his loyalty. It’s one of my favorite moments from this episode.
Jessica: Your honor, you have the power to push Leonard Bailey’s execution if you see fit. Isn’t it worth doing if there’s even a one percent change that he’s innocent?
I love watching Jessica Pearson in court, and she makes a compelling argument.
Donna: Because when you do, I’ll owe you one, and if you don’t know it already, that’s like anyone else owing you fifty.
Something tells me this guy is going to figure that out soon.
Donna: I’m Donna, and I’m awesome.
Really, that’s all anyone needs to know.
Harvey: The only way to stop a coward is to scare the shit out of them.
Thanks for the life lesson, Harvey. If anyone can scare the shit out of them, it’s you.
Louis: Tell me the son of a bitch’s name right now, and I’m gonna freeze his assets by the end of the week.
Donna: His name is Mitchell, and you don’t have to do that.
Louis: Yes I do, Donna. You’re everything to me, and that asshole has no idea what he…
Donna: It was my decision, Louis.
Louis and Donna’s friendship is seriously one of my favorite things.
Mike: You were right. I am pissed that I took a deal to save other people, and now I’m sitting in here for two goddamn years while they’re out there.
Mike seems genuinely concerned over his friendship with Kevin. And the fact is, now if he doesn’t get out soon, prison is about to get a lot more difficult for him.
