Teen Wolf: 10 Reasons Malia Tate Is Our Spirit Animal

Teen Wolf: 10 Reasons Malia Tate Is Our Spirit Animal

Lists, Teen Wolf

Malia Tate (played by Shelley Hennig) stole our hearts when she arrived to Teen Wolf.

She was a scene-stealer from day one with her confusion about the world and how everything works for a human. Her reactions to everyday life had us freaking out and tagging all of her gifsets with the tag GPOY.

It only makes sense to have a list dedicated to all the best moments where Malia reminded us that she is worthy of the spirit animal title.

1. Girlfriends are a must

Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) is definitely someone we would add to our list of dream friends. Not only is Lydia smart and loyal, but she is also determined and funny. So who wouldn’t want to help her solve a mystery? Malia clearly didn’t mind spending time and even sharing space with our favorite strawberry blonde. Malia is for sure one of us when it comes to making female friends. No subtlety required.

2. Math class is the real enemy

Math is pointless and stupid. There. I said it. People who like it are very confusing, but thankfully Malia isn’t one of them. One of the reasons I fell in love with Malia in the first place was because of her separate battle with math class. This moment was definitely one of the best, since we’ve all been there when we are forced to come to class and look at the examples that make absolutely no sense. Bless Malia for doing what we all wish we could: walking out.

3. You can never be prepared for everything

Getting called on in a class that you are struggling in is a worst nightmare for us all. Who didn’t identify with Malia when she was called on? Poor little cupcake.

4. Getting lost, but still trying

We’ve all been at that point where we have no clue what’s going and just feel lost. It helps to see characters on TV who don’t know everything and aren’t scared to admit it. It reminds us that we are not alone, and that we may be confused now, but we won’t feel that way forever. Characters like Malia Tate help get us there.

5. Pizza makes the world go round

Pizza is the food of gods, and even though it’s not Malia’s first choice, we know she will come around. Soon enough Malia will be one of us. Maybe she will order one with deer as a topping? That sounds delicious.
