Teen Wolf: 10 Reasons Malia Tate Is Our Spirit Animal

It only makes sense to have a list dedicated to all the best moments where Malia reminded us that she is worthy of the spirit animal title.

6. Torture is the answer to everything 

When someone gives you weird vibes, there really is only one thing left to do: torture them. Malia made sure to remind us of that when Stiles was highly suspicious of our favorite big bad (rightfully so, by the way). No one is more jealous of Stiles than I am right now!

7. There is no such thing as only one right decision 

Teen Wolf has had it’s fair share of villains and it’s fair share of  ”good guys” who ended up making bad choices in order to protect themselves. But it’s definitely moments like this that remind us of the way they see themselves. Malia’s past wasn’t easy, but the way that she slowly tries to be there for others is very interesting to watch. Her choosing not to judge is one of the first steps to being vulnerable yet not seeing it as a weakness.

8. Girls were, are, and always will be strong 

It’s tragically scary how rare it is to see women completely confident in themselves. This comes from the way women are seen in real life and it translates over to our favorite TV shows. Thankfully, this is slowly changing with characters like Malia. Her confidence in her strength and her abilities inspire female viewers to believe in themselves more. That counts as being a spirit animal for sure.

9. Alcohol makes the heart grow fonder

Alcohol is not the answer to every problem, but it does help with some. Malia reminds us of that after she finds out that Stiles lied to her about who her family was. Being a newly discovered Hale weighs heavily on Malia, and she decides to let go for the night. It’s very relatable for all of us in need of a break from the stress in our lives.

10. The right outfit makes everything better

I can talk for days about the amazing wardrobe that all the Teen Wolf ladies sport, but I will try to control myself (maybe). Since her first appearance at Beacon Hills High, Malia was rocking every outfit from dresses to shorts. It was hard to pick my favorite outfit, but it is safe to say that a sense of style definitely defines a spirit animal.
