Bones Fall Finale Preview: Going Undercover

Bones, Previews

Booth and Brennan are going undercover!

The Bones Season 11 fall finale will be a two-parter airing Thursday, December 10th. The first episode, “The Cowboy in the Contest,” has Booth and Brennan going undercover at an Old West-style shooting competition to solve a murder.

Undercover episodes are always a lot of fun, especially since they give us the chance to see Booth and Brennan work together in new and interesting ways.

When Emily Deschanel and showrunner Michael Peterson spoke with reporters at the beginning of this season, Peterson said he hoped this one would become Deschanel’s new favorite undercover episode: “It’s going to be a different version of undercover than we’ve ever done before, so it’s going to be very playful, competitive. It’s unlike any undercover we’ve done before, so we’re very excited.”

The second episode of the two-part fall finale, “The Doom in the Boom,” includes guest star Sara Rue and has the team investigating the murder of a police officer. It’s an episode that, according to Michael Peterson, will change things dramatically for two of our favorite characters: “Hodgins and Angela in Episode 10, there will be a major shake-up for them, and it also is going to be related to Aubrey.”

I don’t know about you guys, but that makes me really nervous. Peterson also stated in that interview that the shake-up will send the season in a new direction.
