Caroline Dries, Ian Somerholder, and Candice Accola on The Vampire Diaries... Final Season? | Tell-Tale TV

SDCC Interview: Caroline Dries, Ian Somerholder, and Candice Accola on The Vampire Diaries… Final Season?

Interviews, News, San Diego Comic-Con, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries

With Nina Dobrev gone (shut up, we’re still bitter about it!) what in the world will The Vampire Diaries look like next season?

According to Caroline Dries, we can look forward to more focus on Bonnie, Caroline, and Matt, where Elena chewed up some major screen time in previous seasons. All great things, but with the show aging every year — these guys can’t pass as 17 forever, you know — and their beloved leading lady nowhere to be found, is The Vampire Diaries finally reaching the end of the line?

Check out what Ian Somerhalder and Caroline Dries had to say on the topic at San Diego Comic-Con:

But if the show were to end, would Candice Accola want to see Caroline move over to The Originals?

So for now, it looks like Klaroline fans might just have to keep waiting. Don’t worry guys, Delena and Bellarke fans are in the same boat. Solidarity!

The Vampire Diaries returns to The CW on October 8th at 8/7c.
