DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Preview: A Team of Heroes Might Just Do the Trick
From the same producers who brought you Arrow and The Flash, comes the mid-season addition DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, featuring a lot of familiar characters and the possibility for even more crossovers with the main two franchises.
But this is not the only thing that has us excited, no. The premise of this show is enough to muster up enthusiasm all on its own.
On a rooftop, a man called Rip Hunter, a time-traveler from the future, faces Professor Martin Stein (half of Firestorm), the Atom, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, White Canary, Hawkgirl, and of course, the aforementioned Arrow and the Flash.
He speaks of an unspeakable danger, Vandal Savage, a man hell-bet on destroying not only the world, but time itself. To stop him, a hero won’t be enough. A team of heroes, however, that might just do the trick.
So, basically, all of your Justice League fantasies are coming true, but with a different name.
And, if the return of Caity Lotz to play Sara Lance (White Canary), the first appearance of Hawkgirl, played by Ciara Renée, and Brandon Routh’s reprisal of his Ray Palmer character first introduced last season on Arrow aren’t enough to get you pumped, consider this. We are going to the future. Maybe even to the past. Crossovers are a thing. The producers are the same.
The possibilities are endless.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere mid-season on The CW.
