Ed Westwick and Erika Christensen as a couple of serial killers in the 80s? Sign me up.

ABC’s Wicked City is on a long list of new shows we can look forward to with the next television season, though this one is going to make us wait until January.

Ed Westwick, who you might know best as Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl, plays Kent, a serial killer who has no trouble seducing young women before brutally murdering them. And Erika Christensen (Parenthood) is no Julia Braverman in this series. She plays Betty, a woman who finds herself romantically involved with Kent, also becoming his partner in crime.

Wicked City takes place in L.A., focusing specifically on the Sunset Strip as detectives form alliances to try a solve the serial murder case.

The show looks twisted, crazy, and completely intriguing. Check out the trailer below to see what I mean. You’ll never listen to “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” the same way again.

Wicked City also stars Taissa Farmiga as Karen, Gabriel Luna as Paco, Karolina Wydra as Dianne and Anne Winters as Vicki. It’s written by Steven Baigelman, who also serves as Executive producer along with Todd Lieberman, David Hoberman and Laurie Zaks.
