Secrets and Lies Sneak Peek: The Cop (Season 1 Episode 7)
Is Ben innocent? Is Detective Cornell crooked? And who actually killed Tom?
We’re more than halfway through with Season 1 of ABC’s Secrets and Lies, starring Ryan Philippe (Ben Crawford), Juliette Lewis (Detective Andrea Cornell), and KaDee Strickland (Christy Crawford).
The investigation continues with Ben as the prime suspect in the little boy who turned out to be his son. While he seems to be innocent, everyone is turning on him.
So the question remains, who did it? And why is Ben being set up?
It certainly seems like Detective Cornell is out to get him, but Ben’s family and friends hardly feel trustworthy at this point, either.
In this week’s episode, Ben attempts to prove that Cornell is breaking the rules. He turns the tables when he speaks with an inmate who made the mistake of getting on Cornell’s bad side. He gets help to try and bring Cornell down, but an anonymous tip puts the spotlight back on him as prime suspect.
