Last week’s episode of Castle brought back two favorite villains, Dr. Kellie Nieman and Jerry Tyson a.k.a 3XK… or did it?

“Resurrection” left us with a major cliffhanger and an awful lot of questions. Is that really 3XK? And what’s going to happen to Beckett?

While you wait anxiously for Monday evening to arrive, here are a few things you should know about the upcoming episode, “Reckoning”:

  1. Castle and Gates have an unexpected moment.
  2. The beloved “Writer” vest is back!
  3. Castle’s disappearance is discussed further.
  4. Castle’s dark side surfaces in a shocking way.
  5. Detective Ryan struggles with guilt over past events.
  6. Pretty much nothing is as it seems — I’m talking surprises and twists that will make your head spin!
  7. Castle fears for the safety of Martha and Alexis.
  8. You will probably shed a few tears. Have those tissues handy.
  9. It’s a well-written episode full of suspense. It may even top last week’s episode as the best of the season.
