Cupertino Season 1 Episode 1 Preview: The Kings Go West
Cupertino, the newest CBS show from Michelle and Robert King, premieres with Cupertino Season 1 Episode 1, “Michael and Olivia.”
The King’s latest legal drama steps outside of the world of The Good Wife and heads west to take on Silicon Valley.
Starring Mike Colter (who previously worked with the Kings on the beloved series Evil) and Rachel Keller as lawyers who start a law firm in the belly of the beast to represent the “Davids” against the many “Goliaths” running the tech capital of the world.
On episode one, viewers are introduced to Colter and Keller’s characters, the episode’s titular Michael and Olivia as they start their firm and start putting their team together.
The team includes Michael’s former assistant, Christy Palladino (played by Ella Stiller), and their financial backer, Natalia Boutella (played by Busy Philipps). Another notable name that will be a significant presence during the series’ first season is Renée Elise Goldsberry.
Goldsberry will be playing Nichole E. Ferebee, one of the new firm’s main adversaries who (of course) has a complicated romantic history with Michael.
