Anna Pigeon Renewed for Season 2 on USA Network
Anna Pigeon has received an early Season 2 renewal from USA Network.
The Tracy Spiridakos-led drama series debuted in August, and, per the network became its “highest-rated original scripted series premiere in nearly eight years, with an average of 2.35 million total viewers within the seven days following the premiere.”
Anna Pigeon is based on Nevadar Barr’s novels and follows the titular character portrayed by Spiridakos. “While Anna tries to outrun her demons, her focus turns to solving crimes that have taken place within national park grounds, no matter who or what gets in her way,” per its logline.

This news comes ahead of the season finale Anna Pigeon Season 1 Episode 10, “SOS,” which airs on Friday, October 9, at 10/9c on USA Network.
The show’s second season “promises continued mystery and adventure, as Anna’s story continues to unfold.”
“It’s been really thrilling to see audiences fall in love with Anna and come to the park every week,” showrunner and executive producer Morwyn Brebner said in a statement.
“We’re so grateful to our cast and crew who brought Nevada Barr’s iconic world to life with such heart and passion; we cannot wait to get back outside for season two,” Brebner added.

The Anna Pigeon adaptation comes from Brebner and the show’s director and executive producer Lea Thompson.
Alongside Spiridakos, the first season stars Paulina Alexis, Ronnie Rowe, Tricia Helfer, Kim Coates, Crystle Lightning, Cooper Levy, Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Ryan Northcott, Nikki Rae Hallow, Jordan Sledz, and Melanie Scrofano.
“Anna Pigeon has connected with audiences in a meaningful way, bringing a compelling new heroine and a fresh perspective to USA Network,” Michael Sluchan, SVP, Scripted Content, Entertainment, VERSANT, said.
“We’re thrilled to continue Anna’s journey with Tracy, Morwyn, Lea and our incredible partners at Cineflix,” Sluchan continued.

The Anna Pigeon renewal also coincides with the continued expansion of USA original scripted series.
Relatedly, The Rainmaker Season 2 premieres on Friday, October 16, at 10/9c on USA Network — just one week after Anna Pigeon‘s Season 1 finale.
Plus, the network has greenlit Diplomatic Immunity, a new scripted original series. It’s an hour-long medical drama written by executive producers and showrunners Matt Corman & Chris Ord. It comes from FOX Entertainment Studios.
Anna Pigeon‘s executive producers include Brett Burlock, Sonia Hosko, Todd Berger, Julie Di Cresce, Tom Cox, Jordy Randall, Peter Emerson, and Gordon Gilbertson. Leslie Cowan is a producer. The show is produced by Cineflix, December Films and SEVEN24 Films for USA Network in association with Bell Media.
