Animal Control Season 5 Episode 4 Preview: Will Emily Finally Get Her Job Back?
The fate of Emily’s job may be in Frank’s hands on Animal Control Season 5 Episode 4, “Tortoises and Billy Goats.”
Things have been developing really positively and steadily for Emily since she was suspended on Animal Control Season 4 Episode 12, “Golden Moose and Dogs.” She’s tried her best to keep her distance from the precinct — beyond a few scone drop-offs and the rare shenanigan with Patel and Victoria.
Beyond that, though, Emily has obviously taken her suspension seriously because her job matters to her. Therefore it must be a massive trust exercise to believe that Frank will be able to get her job back.
It’s unclear how or really why Frank appoints himself as Emily’s investigator.
It doesn’t seem like that should be allowed since there is a conflict of interest with them both working at the same precinct. Also, Frank is fully invested in Emily being the boss again because that means that Templeton won’t be.
In the meantime, Tortoises and Billy Goats” will also have a lot more happening, like a baseball game for the officers in the parking lot. It also looks like Emily plans a 100th birthday party for the titular tortoise. Sadly, the pack’s expressions suggest that the event doesn’t go as planned.
Plus, Animal Control welcomes multiple new guest stars for this episode: Patricia Isaac and Ellie Harvie.
