America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Season 3 Trailer Released by Netflix
As much as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders embody glitz and glamour, they are also the epitome of a top-tier work ethic.
Netflix released the trailer for America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Season 3, which releases on Tuesday, June 16.
The seven-episode season will follow the 2025-2026 cheerleading class from the trials and tribulations of auditions, training camp, and through the NFL season.
According to Netflix TUDUM, America’s Sweethearts Season 3 will see the return of 30 veterans re-auditioning. This leaves just six spots for newcomers to vie for.
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are arguably America’s most coveted team in the professional cheerleading space.
Known for their all-American blue and white star-spangled outfits, mesmerizing synchronicity, and an undeniable level of high energy, the DCC have cemented their place in the dance world and pop culture.
America’s Sweethearts provides an in-depth and behind-the-scenes look into the DCC’s world of rigorous training sessions and being part of something bigger than just the team’s signature pregame dance to “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC.
The Season 3 trailer hints at the competition being tough as ever this time around.
According to Variety, America’s Sweethearts Season 2 garnered 3.3 million views in its initial launch. It also ranked in the top 10 in 27 countries.
Due to the docuseries’ popularity, this naturally led to an increase in applicants. This will inevitably be a major factor going into Season 3.
Despite the DCC’s competitive nature, there remains a sense of community and support among dancers, which America’s Sweethearts aims to focus on.
America’s Sweethearts is directed by Emmy Award winner Greg Whiteley. Zoe Lyrintzis serves as episodic co-director.
“The world of DCC is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to stories to be told,” Whiteley told Netflix’s TUDUM. “I’m grateful our crew has another season to keep telling them.”
Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell are set to return as senior director and head choreographer, respectively.
