For All Mankind Season 5 Trailer Shows Ed and Dev Preparing for Mars-Earth Civil War
Happy Valley may have fought through all the odds it could. In For All Mankind Season 5, the Mars colony might be on its last legs.
Apple TV released the trailer for For All Mankind Season 5, which makes its debut on Friday, March 27. The ten-episode season will release a new episode weekly until its finale on May 29.
For All Mankind Season 4 Episode 10, “Perestroika,” left fans with a harrowing cliffhanger that questioned everything. This trailer digs deep into the bigger conflict the colonists have to deal with.

The trailer sees For All Mankind Season 5 picking up in the 2010s, a few years after the Season 4 finale. Although the Happy Valley colony is flourishing with its own society and operations, it faces a new challenge it’s never seen before: Earth.
Despite their new mission to discover life far beyond the Solar System, the United States government has vowed to stop supporting the colony. Having to find ways to be self-sufficient, Ed and Dev have placed this mission upon the next generation of colonists to solve.
However, there’s no easy way to solve this problem. There appear to be uprisings, betrayals, and inner fighting shown. It appears that Happy Valley might reach a new breaking point that could ultimately fracture any hope of prosperity.
There are also those who are on Earth who are trying to deal with all of these new changes. While their motivations and involvement remain a mystery as of now, they may influence what Earth does this season.

For All Mankind Season 5’s synopsis also looks to explore this as “friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.” As everyone chooses their sides, what will happen in Season 5 will certainly change where humanity goes, for better or worse.
Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña, and Wrenn Schmidt are set to return for Season 5. Additionally, the new series regulars include Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz, and Ines Asserson.
For All Mankind is created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi.
Wolpert and Nedivi serve as showrunners and executive produce alongside Moore and Maril Davis of Tall Ship Productions, as well as Kira Snyder, David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, and Seth Edelstein.
