Everybody Loves Raymond 30th Anniversary Special to Air on CBS
The cast and creator of Everybody Loves Raymond is coming back to CBS later this year to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary.
Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion will air on Monday, November 25, at 8/7c on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+. The 90-minute special will air just after the show’s actual anniversary.
The sitcom, starring Ray Romano in the titular role, premiered on the network in September 1996 and wrapped up its nine-season run in May 2005.
Romano will host Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion with the show’s creator, Phil Rosenthal.
Everybody Loves Raymond stars Brad Garrett (Robert), Patricia Heaton (Debra), Monica Horan (Amy), Madylin Sweeten (Ally), and Sullivan Sweeten (Michael) will also appear in the special, alongside never-before-seen outtakes from the show.
According to CBS, the program “will also include a moving tribute to Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle, whose unforgettable portrayals of Marie and Frank Barone made them fan favorites and the emotional anchors of the series.”
“Cast, crew, and special guests will share heartfelt reflections on how this dynamic duo redefined the roles of interfering mother-in-law and couch-potato dad into lovable pillars of the Barone family.”
Fulwell Entertainment, which is also behind Friends: The Reunion, produces Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion. The special’s executive producers include Romano, Rosenthal, Rory Rosegarten, Eddy Yablans, Gabe Turner, Emma Conway and Eric Pankowski for Fulwell Entertainment.
Variety reports that MeTV also announced that Everybody Loves Raymond will join its classic TV network on Monday, October 13. The sitcom will air two back-to-back episodes on weeknights, beginning at 9/8c. It will also air on Sundays, starting at 10/9c.
Over its run, Everybody Loves Raymond received 69 Emmy Award nominations and won 15 — two of which were for Outstanding Comedy Series.
The original series is currently available to stream on Paramount+ and Peacock.
