Abbott Elementary Season 5 Episode 4, “Game Night,” offers up another after-school outing on the heels of a night out at the ballpark.
This time around, Gregory steps up to host game night at his apartment. In true Gregory fashion, however, his place is a minimalist’s dream where most of the furniture he has is workout equipment.
We know our girl Janine will be running damage control on the furniture situation. Unfortunately for her, she also has Erika and Simon’s whirlwind on-again-off-again relationship to worry about.
Elsewhere, Mr. Johnson, Ava, Barbara, and Melissa skip game night and head to the DMV to renew their driver’s licenses.
Everyone knows renewing anything at the DMV is easier said than done, and the gang inevitably comes across a few road bumps that threaten to keep them there all night.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?
Previously on Abbott Elementary, the teachers went on an after-school excursion to the Phillies ballpark for Teachers’ Appreciation Night.
Gregory showed Janine the beauty of baseball, and Ava learned another valuable lesson in her relationship with O’Shon. Meanwhile, Melissa tricked Jacob into competing in an impossible hot-dog eating challenge. The team was rewarded at the end of the episode when they met the Phillies’ mascot and star player, Kyle Schwarber.
