The agents of Slough House might be in over their heads this time around as the trailer for Slow Horses Season 5 teases new and unique dangers this time around.

Apple TV+ released the trailer for Slow Horses Season 5, which is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 24. The six-episode season will run weekly until October 29.

This season will also be adapting the next book from award-winning author Mick Herron’s series, London Rules. As such, it will see some characters, such as Shirley, getting more prominence in the future.

Slow Horses Season 5’s official synopsis reads: “Everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected.”

The returning cast for Slow Horses Season 5 includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Ruth Bradley, James Callis, Tom Brooke, and Jonathan Pryce.

Additionally, Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed will also be a guest on Season 5.

Furthermore, for New York fans, Apple TV+ is bringing the series to this year’s New York Comic Con as well.

On Thursday, October 9m at 3:30 pm at the Main Stage at Javits Center, Apple TV+ will be presenting attendees with an exclusive panel about Season 5’s upcoming release. The panel line-up includes Chung, Bradley, Mohammed, and Emmy Award-nominated director Saul Metzstein.

On the upcoming panel, fans may also expect some exclusive footage about the Slough House’s next mission as well as some special teases about the series’ future.

Although time will determine whether or not any burning questions are answered.

Slow Horses is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films and adapted for television by Will Smith.

Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Will Smith and Graham Yost serve as executive producers on the series.

Metzstein, who earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for his work on Slow Horses Season 3, returns to helm Season 5.
