Nautilus Season 1 Finale – Sunday, August 17th
Nautilus Season 1 Episodes 9 and 10, “Ride of the Valkyrie/Too Big to Fail,” airs Sunday, August 17th at 9/8c on AMC and AMC+.
Episode 9 Description: The Nautilus reaches the Pillars of Halvar but finds that the treasure is guarded by a fearsome band of Valkyrie warriors; they capture the crew in a stealth attack underwater; on trial for his life, Nemo must rely on the testimonies of the crew.
Episode 10 Description: The Nautilus crew spread rumors that the East India Mercantile Company is failing; when stock prices plunge, a shareholder meeting is called; Nemo and crew have hours to scheme their way into that meeting, so they can dissolve the Company forever.
The Serial Killer’s Apprentice Documentary Premiere – Sunday, August 17th
The Serial Killer’s Apprentice premieres Sunday, August 17th at 9/8c on ID.
Documentary Description: Infamously known as ‘The Candyman Killer,’ Dean Corll stalked the streets of Houston, Texas, in the early to mid 1970s, luring and brutally killing at least 28 young men. Corll operated largely undetectably for years due not only to his unassuming nature in the community but largely because of the help he received by two young accomplices—Elmer Wayne Henley Jr. and David Brooks. However, in 1973, Henley fatally shot Corll and subsequently confessed to their crimes, leading authorities to Corll’s burial ground to recover the victims’ bodies. Decades later, Henley speaks now for the first time in 50 years with Dr. Ramsland, offering unprecedented and chilling insight into what led to his complicity in Corll’s crimes.
