What to Expect from Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 Episode 6: Cats and Mouse

After framing Mia LaPierre for a murder she didn’t commit in order to get the scent off of Harrison, Dexter has some big players to contend with. Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 Episode 6, “Cats and Mouse,” shows that not only does Dexter have Prater to deal with but also Batista and Detective Claudette.

Meanwhile, Dexter decides his next focus from the serial killer club is the killer known as Gemini. This is a man who kills in pairs so that his victims can die together instead of alone. 

Played by the talented David Dastmalchian, Gemini just might give Dexter a run for his money, if Prater doesn’t interfere. Either way, Dexter’s hands are full as he finds himself once again juggling the struggles of fatherhood and his urges which are active once more.

Batista might believe that Harrison nor Mia are the true killers of Ryan Foster, but his stated white whale: the Bay Harbor Butcher might lose him credibility with Detective Claudette. Or it could win him even more favor because he’s showing himself to be a dedicated officer of the law, which Claudette has shown to respect — to an extent.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Dexter: Resurrection, Dexter and Harrison made contact with one another in New York City. The meeting was fraught with confusing feelings and an underlying desire to understand each other. Meanwhile, Dexter cozied up to fellow killer, Mia in order to find out more about her code only to find out she doesn’t have one. So, he uses her to get the NYPD off Harrison’s scent.
