Wallace Boden is back on Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 18, “Post-Mortem.” It will be the first time we’ve seen Boden in his new role as Deputy Commissioner and the first time he’s appeared since leaving Firehouse 51.
Unfortunately, it looks like his arrival is due to some unfortunate circumstances. In the promo video for the episode (which you can watch below), Boden says, “Last night was every firefighter’s worst nightmare,” and “I need to know exactly what went wrong.”

The video also shows an intense fire with screaming, chaos, and at least one horrifying-looking casualty.
