Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 21 Preview: Operation Re-Hire Ava
Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 21, “Rally,” sees the teaching staff implement Operation Get Ava’s Job Back. The former principal admits to Janine that she misses the school and is ready to return if the district allows her.
Thus, the team set out for the district to plead for her job back.
On the season’s penultimate episode, Ava faces an uphill battle. Still, if anyone can convince the administration to reinstate someone who blackmailed a boujee golf course, it’s the powerhouse office siren.
Thankfully, she doesn’t have to do this alone. With the gang off to the district to save her job, Gregory stays behind to run the school.
While he’s been able to navigate disgruntled parents and the teacher/principal balance, he’s about to face his most brutal battle yet.
Thankfully, Tariq has also returned to help his Abbott family in their time of need. Let’s hope he sticks around to keep Gregory company while the adults are away.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?
Previously on Abbott Elementary, the staff attempted to run a car-wash fundraiser in Ava’s absence to repurchase the supplies the district confiscated from them. When it’s clear they are out of their depth, Ava calls in one of her celebrity contacts to save the day. Meanwhile, Gregory had to get his game face on for open house, navigating a few disgruntled parents as principal.
