What to Expect from Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 7: The Big Bang Theory

Previews, Wild Cards

Ellis races to save Max and Chief Li when they get trapped in the police station on Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 7, “The Big Bang Theory.”

It’s not that the locks have malfunctioned, and they’re waiting for a locksmith to fix it. It’s more intense than that — there’s a bomb in the building.

The promo video for “The Big Bang Theory” reveals more about how it all unfolds. It seems like Li discovers the bomb in his office and quickly puts Ellis in charge of clearing everyone from the building and finding a solution.

Unfortunately, the promo video shows that someone does something that takes 30 minutes off the clock. So, Ellis has to work fast, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be working alone. The photos show that Yates and Simmons will be by Ellis’s side for at least some of “The Big Bang Theory.”

He must keep up with the bomber’s demands to get everyone out of the situation safely. One of Ellis’s main hurdles may be preventing his emotions from clouding his judgement.

Of course, the “The Big Bang Theory” promo video zeroes in on Ellis and Max’s relationship. That choice makes sense, particularly after their kiss on Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 6, “Séance and Sensibility.” There’s a sweet moment where Max tells Ellis the bomb won’t go off because he promised her — that’s trust.

However, Wild Cards has gradually shown that Ellis and Li have a strong dynamic, having built one working together over the years. Needless to say, The Big Bang Theory looks intense. Perhaps that’s why Max tries to diffuse the tension — not the bomb — with a game of charades.

Here’s everything you need to know, including the air date, cast, promo, and how to watch.
