What to Expect from Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 10: Shark Attack! Part Two: Orca!

After being left dead in the water during the previous episode’s conclusion, the crew of The Odyssey returns with the conclusion of its first two-parter with Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 10, “Shark Attack! Part Two: Orca!”

After a great white shark ran into the ship’s engines, the power went out, and the ship was stranded in the middle of the ocean with no way of contacting anyone. To make matters worse, multiple people were in the infirmary in need of dire medical attention on land due to the shark bites they had sustained. It is not looking good.

In the darkness, Captain Massey announces to the crew the direness of the situation while Max tries to keep the patients stable. Avery suggests taking a two-hour boat ride to the nearest port to get the help that they need.

The medical team, accompanied by Dr. Brooke Lane, board a small boat with the patients and start to make their way to land through the dark and vast sea. However, their journey does not last long, as an orca immediately attacks the boat.

Amid a power outage, Max, Tristan, Avery and Brooke struggle to treat shark-inflicted wounds. As romantic tensions flare between Max and Brooke and new sparks fly between two former flames, the team must perform an emergency operation.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Doctor Odyssey, Spencer is attacked by a shark while surfing with Tristan and the ship is not equipped to deal with the severity of his injury. While making their way to the nearest port, they find a small boat with more people that have also been attacked by sharks.

While trying to stabilize them as best as they can, tensions rise between Max and one of the survivors, Dr. Brooke Lane. Captain Massey is trying to get to port as quickly as possible to better the chances of survival for the injured people, but a great white shark runs into the engine of the ship, causing the power to go out and leaving them stranded.

In the final moments, it is revealed that they are surrounded by a pod of orcas, and they are unable to signal for help.
