What to Expect from Animal Control Season 3 Episode 10: Strays and Lovebirds
Animal Control Season 3 Episode 10, “Strays and Lovebirds,” commemorates the end of another season with the kennel’s groundbreaking ceremony.
However, after a season of bumps in the road, this season finale has one more in store for the pack — they don’t have enough dogs in their kennel. So, the team must scour Seattle to find enough dogs to make the new kennel worthwhile.
Considering Emily talks about overcrowding on Animal Control Season 3 Episode 9, “Retrievers and Fruit Bats,” it seems they must have had a rush of adoptions between then and the season finale. Either way, it’s more than likely that’s where the “strays” in “Strays and Lovebirds” comes from in Animal Control‘s episode title.
As for “lovebirds,” could this season finale make more progress with Emily and Shred? The photos for “Strays and Lovebirds” reveal that Josh Segarra is back as Parker. Could that mean that Victoria will give that dynamic another try after their short-lived interactions on Animal Control Season 3 Episode 8, “Party Animals?”
Or, will Animal Control finally take a leap with Frank and Victoria?
Meanwhile, Frank grows concerned when he realizes he hasn’t heard from his dad. In fairness, Frank hasn’t mentioned Jimmy lately. Plus, the last time Jimmy was on the show was when he adopted and returned Hopper, the former police dog on Animal Control Season 3 Episode 3, “Goats, Snakes, and Dogs?”
It’ll be interesting to see if Frank reaches out to his brother, Patrick, to help him check on their dad or if they happen to arrive at Jimmy’s house simultaneously. The photos make it look like they will compete to see who can knock in the front door faster. There is plenty to anticipate on this season finale!

What Happened on the Previous Episode?
Previously on Animal Control, Frank and Victoria secure funding for the new kennel from Roman Park, played by returning guest star Ken Jeong. The duo had to look for a new benefactor after Emily rejected Fiona’s money after the events of Animal Control Season 3 Episode 8, “Party Animals.”
Meanwhile, Shred and Patel’s house-flip project gets closer to its resolution with an open house that Bettany helps facilitate. There, Shred and his girlfriend Isabelle act as a married couple to up the bids for the home, but Shred appears to come to the realization that he may not see a future with Isabelle.
