Shea is back and causing more trouble for Olympia on Matlock Season 1 Episode 14, “Gameday.”

Olympia’s anger toward Julian might have dissipated, but her animosity towards Shea has not. Rather than using the firm’s in-house jury consultant, Olympia hires an outside party.

Shea is many things, but bad at her job is not one of them, and Olympia’s decision puts her case at risk. Letting her feelings about Shea cloud her judgment would be bad under any circumstances. 

However, in the middle of a race against Julian for partner, mistakes like that are especially costly. 

Olympia isn’t the only one dealing with an unwanted presence on “Gameday.” Matlock Season 1 Episode 13, “Pregame” ended with the unexpected arrival of Matty’s sister. Someone she clearly has a complicated relationship with.

On “Gameday,” Matty’s sister is still visiting and finds the family’s murder board detailing their efforts to expose the Wellbrexa coverup. The discovery causes an argument between the sisters, which will undoubtedly lead to some backstory about their fraught relationship.
