Preview — Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 9: Sharks!

After being docked for the winter, the crew of the Odyssey finally returns this week with the first two-part event of its freshman season with Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 9, “Shark Attack!”

After the shocking revelation that Avery is pregnant on Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 8, “Quackers,” a difficult decision lies ahead for her, Max, and Tristan, especially since they don’t know who the father is. However, baby talk will have to wait because while Tristan and Spence are surfing, the latter is attacked by a shark.

When Spence is brought back on board, we are introduced to the new member of the Odyssey, Dr. Brooke Lane, the new trauma surgeon. They quickly jump into action to save Spence.

Avery goes to Max’s room and is shocked to find Brooke there. She is clearly mad and walks away—classic Max behavior.

Before anything else can be said, Captain Massey is alerted that a small ship needs rescuing from shark-infested waters, and a crew is sent. However, it will not be an easy rescue since the sharks quickly attack them.

The teaser concludes with Avery saying, “Nothing bad ever happens in the Odyssey,” which we can all collectively laugh at.
