For viewers still wondering who the serial killer on Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 10, “Zoe,” is, Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 14, “Marie,” might have the answer or at least bring us closer to the truth. Ruzek has kept the case close to his heart since he found Zoe, so it makes sense that he wants to look deeper into it when Zoe goes missing.

Chances are that the man who pretended to be her father has come back for her. Is his goal to take her out of state and disappear? Will the Intelligence Unit be able to catch him before that?

While Ruzek deals with this challenging serial killer who becomes one of the biggest cases of his career, he is also facing challenges at home as his father’s health continues to deteriorate. Bob told him from the beginning that he didn’t want to come home because he didn’t want to be a burden. Ruzek, of course, doesn’t see it that way because he loves his father.

Now, Ruzek, Burgess, and Makayla will have to navigate the reality of living with someone with Alzheimer’s. Will this interfere with how Ruzek works the case?
