The Thundermans: Undercover Sets Premiere Date on Nickelodeon

The Thundermans are back, and they’re going undercover — again. 

The Thundermans: Undercover, a new spinoff series based on characters from the original live-action show that aired for four seasons, will debut in 2025. The half-hour series premieres on Wednesday, January 22, at 7/6c on Nickelodeon — five days after Henry Danger The Movie premieres on the network.

The series stars returning stars Kira Kosarin as Phoebe, Jack Griffo as Max, and Maya Le Clark as Chloe. The Thundermans: Undercover follows “Phoebe and Max as they are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the beachside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe along to develop her superhero talent.”

The new trailer for the series shows Chloe grappling with making new friends and harnessing her powers. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Max try to assure their parents — Chris Tallman and Rosa Blasi will reprise their roles as Hank and Barb, respectively — that they have everything under control. 

Nickelodeon Studios greenlit the spinoff series in May 2024 after the movie The Thundermans Return premiered on Paramount+ in March.

The Thundermans: Undercover will feature guest appearances from The Thundermans cast members, including Diego Velazquez as Billy, Addison Riecke as Nora, Audrey Whitby as Cherry, Kenny Ridwan as Gideon, Helen Hong as Mrs. Wong, Jeff Meachum as Principal Bradford, and Daniele Gaither as Super President Kickbutt.

The series also stars Daran Norris as Thunderford and Dana Snyder as the voice of Dr. Colosso, as well as new cast members Kinley Cunningham as Booch and Nathan Broxton as Jinx. The Thundermans: Undercover‘s other guest stars include Ryan Ochoa, Jessica Marie Garcia, Lilimar, and Anna McNulty.

The Thundermans: Undercover Season 1 Episode 1, “Thundercover,” will see Phoebe and Max assigned to “a mission in their new hi-tech beach home base, where their superhero identities remain a secret,” per its description.

“They bring Chloe along to help her have a normal life, but the trio must stop the threats of Secret Shores and the true supervillain known as the Mastermind.” Trevor Kirschner directed and co-executive produced the episode.

Jed Spingarn and Sean W. Cunningham & Marc Dworkin executive produce the series. Kira Kosarin serves as an executive producer and makes her directorial debut with the episode “Prank You, Next.” Jack Griffo is also an executive producer on The Thundermans: Undercover. 

Production of the series for Nickelodeon Studios is overseen by Shauna Phelan, Head of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action, along with Executive Brian Banks. Created and executive produced by Jed Spingarn, the original series premiered on Nickelodeon in 2013 and wrapped up its four-season, 98-episode run in 2018.
