A double possession and a one-hour special? It’s starting to look like Ghostsmas.
This year’s festivities promise to be the best trainwreck yet, as Ghosts Season 4 Episodes 8 and 9, “A Very Arondekar Christmas Part 1/A Very Arondekar Christmas Part 2,” welcome Jay’s family to Woodstone.
Sam is ready to prove to Jay’s family that she is worthy of being in the core four family group chat. Unfortunately for Sam, her overeagerness isn’t the only obstacle threatening to sabotage this visit.
The water heater breaks while Mark is on vacation, and desperate to fix the situation, Jay and Sam attempt to fix it with the help of the basement ghosts.
But their carelessness with electricity is once again their downfall as Nancy is zapped into Sam’s body and Jay into Pete’s.
It’s a double possession, a first for Ghosts. Now, Sam must rely on Nancy to charm Jay’s judgemental mother while the group struggles to find another way to exercise Pete from Jay’s body because of his ghost power, voiding the boundary trick.
Ghosts’ one-hour holiday special promises more supernatural hijinks as Nancy tries snacks and shoes for the first time and Bela attempts to wrangle Pete as Jay during their family outings.
When the snow settles, this untraditional episode will give us heartwarming reunions, brand-new dynamics, and Rose McIver’s brilliant accent work.
This special promises to give fans a gift that has been on our wishlist since the pilot first aired. It will be well worth the wait when it is finally unwrapped.
