Helen Webb is not what she seems. The world sees her as the Defense Secretary’s wife and loving mother to their two kids. But in reality, she’s a spy, feeding Mrs. Reed and the organization that employs her all of her husband’s political secrets.

Black Doves follows Helen and her assassin best friend, Sam, as they investigate the death of Helen’s lover, Jason. Unfortunately for both of them, it’s not an easy mystery to solve.

Jason was involved in a massive conspiracy, and by investigating his death, Sam and Helen, and their loved ones, become targets as well.

When her secret lover Jason (Andrew Koji) is assassinated, her spymaster, the enigmatic Reed (Sarah Lancashire), calls in Helen’s old friend Sam (Ben Whishaw) to keep her safe. Together, Helen and Sam set off on a mission to investigate who killed Jason and why, leading them to uncover a vast, interconnected conspiracy linking the murky London underworld to a looming geopolitical crisis.
