Preview — Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 7: Is Clark’s Secret in Jeopardy?

Clark starts to realize that his Superman secret may be in jeopardy on Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 7, “A Regular Guy.” 

In everyone’s defense, Lois, Jonathan, and Jordan couldn’t be expected to act reserved at the sight of Clark’s dead body at the end of Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 1, “The End & the Beginning.” Of course, some of Smallville’s attentive townspeople would put two and two together.

That said, as shown on Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 2, “A World Without,” Denise and Chuck have kept the news to themselves. The only people sharing Clark’s secret (and their own) thus far were Jordan and Jonathan when Jordan looped Candice in on Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 5, “Break the Cycle.”

Coach Gaines and Aidy Manning act as if they know the truth on “Break the Cycle,” but they don’t explicitly say as much. Plus, even Lex Luthor has yet to do anything with the information. However, that prospect is more terrifying and looms large.

In Clark’s defense, this secret is all Clark’s known. In the promo video for “A Regular Guy,” Lois even tells Jonathan and Jordan, “Your father has been keeping this a secret his whole life.” Presumably, that line responds to Jordan and Jon questioning if the secret is better out than in.

Superman & Lois will see Clark argue the former, saying, “This secret is everything. It’s the only thing that gives us a chance at a normal life.” The promo video shows Jordan arguing that their lives have never been normal. 

Maybe it’s time for a new normal. That much may be true at the Gazette because Chrissy will tell Lois a “drastic” proposition for the paper. Ultimately, there is much to expect when Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 7, “A Regular Guy,” airs on Monday, November 11, on The CW.
