Preview — Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 6: Death of the Local Deli
Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 6, “The Deli,” shows how the area’s gentrification hits Abbott staff particularly hard when their local deli spot is forced to close.
First, golf courses and white students start moving in. Now, trendy smoothie places are setting up shop down the street.
When Melissa, Jacob, and Barbara hear the news, they step up to fight the deli’s closure together and prevent more local establishments from being pushed out.

While the dream team assembles to fight for the justice of sliced meats, Ava finds herself once again in the district’s clutches.
Ava is asked to give a presentation to other principals, and she turns to Janine for help.
Given her history with presentations on behalf of the school, this could go either way for Ava. That said, she has come a long way as the principal of Abbott, and if anyone should teach the other principals an unconventional approach to success, it’s our homegirl.
