Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 3, “Always My Hero,” sees John Henry and Natalie Irons rejoin the fight after Superman’s death.

General Lane recruits John Henry and Natalie to the DOD, which likely gives some context to their conversations in the promo video. John Henry says, “The world is without its protector.” However, it won’t be without protection for long, as Natalie heroically says, “But if we can’t stop it, who can?”

Their help will be needed on “Always My Hero” because Lex appears to have something planned. He says, “We have one shot at this,” in the promo video, which then cuts to an intimidating shot of Bizarro Doomsday.

The promo video then takes a turn for the ominous as the father-daughter duo presumably fights against Bizarro Doomsday with potentially catastrophic consequences. That explosion does not look good, but the fear in Natalie’s voice is even worse.

Elsewhere, Jordan spirals, likely after blaming himself for Lex stomping on Clark’s heart on Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 2, “A World Without,” and Jon will discover newfound strength.

The promo video for “Always My Hero” also teases the Smallville Gazette story that Lois Lane pens to let the world know that Superman has died: “A World Without Superman.”  The first line reads: “The world has lost its greatest hero.” This “Death of Superman” arc is just heartbreaking.
