If you expect Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 5, “Water and Honey,” to pick back up with Chapman’s confession to Voight, you might be disappointed. As she mentioned on Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 4, “The After,” she will be gone for many months. Therefore, that storyline might not have any repercussions for a while.
However, Officer Cook from Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 2, “Blood Bleeds Blue,” is back for this episode. After her incredible work with the unit, particularly Adam, last time, it is exciting to see her collaborating with the Intelligence Unit again.

This time around, Cook needs the team’s help. Last time, she helped Adam catch the killer. Now, she needs their help because she disagrees with her partner while working on a new case.
Will the case be the one Torres brings to the team as they find a dead person in the river? Hopefully, they will find an answer to the case, and Cook will stick around for a few more episodes.
