Apartment 7A Trailer Shows a Dancer Haunted by More Than Stage Fright
Paramount+ has released the trailer for the upcoming horror film Apartment 7A.
The film will stream on Paramount+ on Friday, September 27, after premiering at Fantastic Fest.
Apartment 7A is a prequel loosely based on the novel Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin. It stars Julia Garner as Terry Gionofrio, Dianne Wiest as Margaux Castevet, Kevin McNally as Roman Castevet, and Jim Sturgess as a famous Broadway producer.

Rounding out the cast are Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosy McEwen, and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.
Apartment 7A follows Terry Gionofrio, an ambitious young dancer in New York City seeking to make a name for herself. She finds herself in an apartment filled with strange occurrences.
The film is directed by Natalie Erika James with a screenplay by Natalie Erika James and Christian White with a screen story by Skylar James.
Apartment 7A is a Platinum Dunes/Sunday Night Production. It’s executive produced by Vicki Dee Rock and Alexa Ginsburg and produced by John Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, p.g.a., Michael Bay, Andrew Form, p.g.a., and Brad Fuller.

Details for this project were kept secret since production began in March 2021. It wasn’t until filming wrapped in 2022 that it was revealed that the project was a prequel to Rosemary’s Baby.
The Apartment 7A trailer starts with Terry suffering a career-ending injury. She is rescued by an elderly couple, Margaux and Roman Castevet, who offer her a place to stay. Terry’s friends hesitate about the move because she does not know them at all, but she insists it will be good.
Terry becomes uneasy with Margaux’s presence and starts to suspect that the young woman who lived in the apartment before her suffered a terrible fate.

Terry begins to hallucinate that she is pregnant but not with a human child.
There are glimpses of a strange creature with “the eyes” — an homage to the 1968 film. Meanwhile, Margaux keeps insisting that they can “give her everything she ever wanted.”
The Apartment 7A trailer concludes with more screaming and demonic imagery, with Margaux eerily saying that “babies get to stay.”
